Documentary film contest: “Labor rights in Armenia”
Institute of Public Policy (IPP) announces documentary film contest, for the purpose of identifying issues connected to labour rights and their protection in Armenia, as well as to draw attention to the issue and initiate public discussion.
The deadline for submitting the films is October 15, 2018.
The films selected at the first stage of the contest will be posted on IPP’s Youtube channel and other online platforms.
The participation in the contest is seen as author’s agreement on free demonstration and dissemination of the film.
During the second stage of the contest, the jury will select the 3 best films, and the authors of these films will receive a monetary prizes of 200,000 drams (including taxes and fees).
For participating in the contest the following materials should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org email address:
1. The film (or the link to download it),
2. The synopsis of the film,
3. Few photos from the film,
4. Author’s short autobiography (2 paragraphs) and telephone number,
5. Author’s photo.
Only the films that have never been posted on the Internet and haven’t been displayed in any other format can participate in the contest.
The expected duration of the film is 5-8 minutes. It can be filmed with any device (e.g. mobile phone).
